SELF-GUIDED TOURS:
Downstream six-mile trip from Appalachian Outfitters Outpost on the scenic Chestatee River. The outpost is located only one mile south of Dahlonega Town Square. You’ll experience gentle rapids, rock cliffs, secluded beaches, and great swimming holes.
Self-guided tour includes a canoe or kayak for 2, paddles, lifejackets, and return shuttle. $35.00 per canoe or kayak for two persons.
KAYAK RENTAL: Single kayaks available for $22 per person.
Departures between 9 AM and 3 PM on weekends or 10 AM and 3 PM on weekdays.
